Trisha Trigilio

Trisha Trigilio is a fellow with the Civil Rights Clinic at the University of Texas School of Law. Prior to joining the clinic, she was a law clerk to the Hon. J. Paul Oetken in the Southern District of New York. From 2011 through 2013, she was a law clerk in the Southern District of New York Office of Pro Se Litigation, where she advised judges about substantive issues in pro se civil rights complaints and habeas corpus petitions. She spent a year in Austin prior to clerking, during which she litigated habeas corpus petitions in capital cases.

Trisha graduated from New York University School of Law in 2010, where she was a Senior Articles Editor for the Review of Law and Social Change. Her work in law school focused on public defense and capital postconviction litigation.
