Employee of the Year

The UT School of Law Employee Recognition Program recognizes employees who make exceptional contributions to the University of Texas School of Law. All employees of the UT School of Law community are encouraged to nominate full-time colleagues who deserve this special acknowledgment. The 2013-2014 Employee of the Year recipient will receive a monetary award of $1,000 (pre-withholding), three (3) days of administrative leave, and an award plaque.

If you believe a UT Law School employee to be an exceptional example of the values listed on the UT School of Law Principles page, please nominate them.

Eligibility

The UT School of Law recognizes outstanding members of the staff who excel in or go beyond the call of duty. Nominations may be made by all UT Law employees. Nominees must be full-time Classified and A&P employees of the Law School.

Award

The Employee of the Year recipient will receive a monetary award of $1,000 (pre-withholding), three (3) days of administrative leave, and an award plaque.

Award Criteria

The Employee of the Year Award recognizes the exceptional contributions that staff makes to the UT School of Law's success. The Employee Recognition Committee will score the following criteria for the Employee of the Year Award:

  1. Demonstrates one or more core principles of the UT School of Law.
  2. Significantly improves a work process or efficiency at the UT School of Law.
  3. Performs at a level above and beyond normal job requirements.
  4. Past employee of the month nominations (if any).
