In Memoriam:
Robert E. Mathews, Carl H. Fulda, 53 TEXAS L. REV. 419 (1975).

In this tribute, Professor Mathews recounts the remarkable career of Professor Carl H. Fulda, who passed away on January 5, 1975. After moving to the U.S. from Germany, Professor Fulda obtained his law degree from Yale, and served in numerous public roles, including the White House Task Force on Antitrust Policy, and the A.B.A. Commission to study the Federal Trade Commission. He began his teaching career at Rutgers, and concluded it with ten years at The University of Texas. As a scholar he was renowned for his contributions to international and comparative law, including this Introduction to American Law (in German). While at the Law School he developed that International Legal Studies Program and established the Texas International Law Journal. Finally, Professor Mathews notes the integrity and boundless vitality of Professor Carl H. Fulda.
