This piece memorializes Edward Weldon Bailey, a professor at the University of Texas School of Law. Bailey joined the faculty of the University of Texas in 1930 and from 1937 to 1967 held the Albert Sidney Burleson Professorship in Law. He served as faculty advisor to the Texas Law Review, and was one of the principal draftsmen of the Texas Business Corporations Act.
