Book Review:
Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Touring the Law in King Arthur’s Court
(reviewing Arthur R. Miller’s Miller’s Court (1982)), 61
TEXAS L. REV. 341 (1982).
Abstract:
In this Book Review, Judge (now Justice) Ginsburg lauds
Professor Miller’s attempt to present a non-threatening
explanation of the United States’ legal system for lay readers.
Ginsburg describes Miller’s style of presenting engaging factual
scenarios then sorting out the legal issues in them to
illustrate how the legal system sorts out competing interests.
Miller, Ginsburg concludes, successfully presents a book that
lawyers can share with non-lawyer friends who want to understand
more about what it means to “think like a lawyer.”
