Article:
Nancy J. Moore, Conflicts of Interest in the Simultaneous Representation of Multiple Clients: A Proposed Solution to the Current Confusion and Controversy 61 TEXAS L. REV. 211 (1982).

Abstract:
In this article, Professor Moore argues for her interpretation of proposed Model Rules of Professional Responsibility governing the representation of multiple clients. Moore points out the inconsistent understandings that exist regarding the proposed rules. She concludes that the proposed rule should be adopted with the qualification that certain situations, such as the representation of co-defendants in a criminal cases, render the representation of multiple clients impermissible regardless of how the rule technically applies to a situation.
