A. Weisbach, Thinking Outside the Little Boxes: A Response to
Professor Schlunk, 80 TEXAS L. REV. 893 (2002).
Abstract:
Professor
Weisbach challenges Schlunk’s advocacy of a tax law that does
not draw lines. While
recognizing the importance of tax reform and the blatant problem
presented by the debt-equity distinction, Weisbach maintains
that the call for the elimination of line-drawing in tax policy
is a limited one. Weisbach proposes more study of line-drawing
theory and a heightened attention to the various constraints
faced by policymakers.
