| Texas Review of Entertainment and Sports Law's 2010 Symposium
On March, 25, 2010, the TRESL will be holding its first annual symposium. The symposium will focus on the
expiring collective bargaining agreements in the NFL and NBA, a timely and important Sports Law topic.

If you are interested in
attending the symposium or have any general questions,

The Symposium will take place
at the law school in the Eidman Courtroom and
adjacent Joe Jamail Pavilion. The event will last
one day and is tentatively scheduled to have various
speakers, a panel, simulation, lunch and dinner.

Professor Matthew Parlow of
Marquette University will be speaking regarding the
likely battles related to league punishment in the
upcoming agreements and other controversial aspects
of the bargaining. Professor Parlow is a part of the
National Sports Law Institute, teaches Sports Law
and has practiced Sports Law. He currently consults
with professional sports teams about issues relating
to collective bargaining agreements, particularly in
the NBA. Professor Parlow's article on the subject
will be included in Volume 11.2, which will be published
around the time of the symposium.
