The Review of Litigation Announces Editor and Staff Editors of the Year:
Four Selected for their Excellence and Achievement
In a ceremony at the Vinson & Elkins Banquet celebrating Volume 28 of the Review of Litigation, the annual awards for Editor of the Year and Staff Editor of the Year were announced. This year's winners are: Kimberly R. Hicks, Amber L. McKeon, David N. Mervis, and Cortney C. Thomas.
Each year, the Review of Litigation membership selects through anonymous voting those individuals that have contributed the most over the year to the journal. The Editor of the Year is selected by the staff editors, while the Staff Editor of the Year is selected by the Volume 28 editors.
This year's winner of the Editor of the Year is Kim Hicks. Ms. Hicks is from Austin, TX and is the Volume 28 Editor in Chief. The Staff Editors of the Year were selected in a tie, the first ever three-way tie for the award. The Staff Editors of the Year were: Amber McKeon of Kearney, NE, who will be an Associate Editor for Volume 29; David Mervis of Silver Spring, MD, who will be an Articles Editor for Volume 29; and Cort Thomas of Richardson, TX, who will be the Chief Articles Editor for Volume 29.
