About LTS

The Law Technology Services (LTS) department is committed to providing IT solutions and support for the academic and administrative functions of the Law School. LTS is comprised of professionals dedicated to providing prompt, friendly and efficient support and solutions. There are four service areas inside the LTS department: Computer Services (formerly CIC), Media Services, Web + Database Services and Faculty Services.

Latest Headlines and Questions

  • New Web design – A refresh of the Law School website was introduced on August 1st, 2010. This refresh included a total rewrite of the code and display. This offers a brighter, cleaner web representation of the law school. These enhancements will also make new web page deployment a more streamlined process in regards to the templates that are available.
  • New Law School Events Calendar - A new events calendar was introduced on August 1st 2010. The application offers a vast improvement in functionality and flexibility for the public and the staff. The new calendar offers the opportunity for each department to maintain an internal calendar specific to their department while using the same tool. Other new features include the ability to view room availability, to place an event on your calendar using iCal .ics, and an enhanced search feature to find events.
  • Annual Risk Assessment for Information Resources (ISORA) – Begins in early Sept. More information soon.
  • Technology upgrade for Summer 2010: Hill Courtroom, CCJ 3.302, updated to offer current electronic courtroom technology
  • The move to Windows 7 and Office 2010 continues this Fall. Need help?
  • CSO eResource Library – This new application gives the ability to search the CSO’s resource library catalog for books, periodicals, audio/video. You have the opportunity to search resources based on title, author, type of resource, and the career path the resource may be related to such as academic or judicial.
  • Ask about SharePoint, available for faculty publishing and collaboration!

Students can find service and support in the lab located in the Tarlton Library on level 5.

LTS Help Desk

The LTS Help ticketing system is the easiest way for faculty and staff to request help for any IT related issue. We route all help requests to the correct service area and most requests will be assigned within four business hours. For more urgent needs, our users can call continue to call 232-1230.
