Team named Regional Champions, Will Proceed to Nationals
AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Texas School of Law won the regional round at this year's National Mock Trial Competition and will proceed to the national round this March.
The regional competition was hosted by Baylor University's School of Law in Waco on February 14-15. UT Law congratulates team members Erin Anderson, Sommer Bender, Elizabeth Green, Craig Moore and Naomi Porterfield, as well as coach Jerry Galow of Watson, Bishop, London & Galow, P.C.
UT Law team members will compete for the national title at the National Mock Trial Competition, one of the most prestigious competitions in the United States, in Houston on March 27-29. The top two teams from 13 different regions compete for the National Champion title. The University of Texas School of Law and St. Mary's School of Law will be representing this region in the national tournament.
