Tentative Schedule

Dear UT Law Parents:

On behalf of the School of Law and its faculty, I am delighted to invite you to Parents' Day at The University of Texas School of Law on Saturday, November 1, 2003. The Texas Longhorns will face the Nebraska Cornhuskers at a time yet to be announced. The game is already sold out, but if your son/daughter has the All-Sports package, she or he may be able to purchase guest tickets.

Each college and school on campus will hold its own events throughout the morning. Our open house will begin at 9:00 a.m. with registration, a continental breakfast, and library and building tours. At 10:00 a.m., I will speak briefly, and I will be available to discuss the curriculum, career services, admissions, and other topics of interest. There will be a Board of Advocates presentation and more library and building tours at 10:45 a.m. We will then have a barbecue luncheon in the atrium at 11:30 a.m. for $9.00 a plate. Tickets must be pre-ordered and will be given to you at registration.

I hope you will be able to attend our Parents' Day activities and visit the school. Our students are the central reason that the Law School exists, and we enjoy the chance to meet with their parents. I look forward to seeing you on November 1st.

If you have any questions, please call Assistant Dean Susana Alemán at 512-232-1313.

With best wishes, I am

Sincerely yours,

William C. Powers
Dean
