November 13: Careers in Criminal Defense Panel

Free public event will explore career paths

AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas School of Law's Criminal Law Society is proud to present its first program of the year, "Careers in Criminal Defense," this coming Thursday, November 13th at 4PM in the Francis Auditorium (Room 2.114). This is a catered event and will feature a panel of criminal defense attorneys from various backgrounds.

This event is funded in part by the Student Bar Association.

The Criminal Law Society is a new organization for students, faculty, and staff at the Law School and elsewhere on the UT campus who are interested in learning more about and/or wish to become actively involved in the criminal law field. Our objectives are to provide information and share perspectives on relevant topics, including caselaw, academic courses and careers, and to coordinate major programming, including speakers, symposiums, conferences, and workshops encompassing a variey of topics related to criminal law and careers in the criminal law field.
