Securities and Exchange Commissioner Roel C. Campos is the Keynote Speaker. He will discuss "Demographics and the Modern Market: Building Capital, Building Community."
A native of Harlingen, Texas, Campos earned an MBA from UCLA and JD from Harvard. In cooperation with Henry Cisneros and Raul Yzaguirre, he founded the New America Alliance to promote the advancement of Latino communities, focusing on economic and political empowerment and public advocacy. Campos is the first Latino Securities and Exchange Commissioner and will commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Brown v. Board of Education decision by speaking on the critical importance of building intellectual and economic capital in Hispanic communities throughout the United States.
