AUSTIN, Texas — Graduates of The University of Texas School of Law passed the Texas bar exam at a rate of 92.04%, ranking first in the state among the other eight Texas ABA law schools. UT graduates who took the July exam surpassed the statewide average pass rate among Texas ABA law schools, which rose to 80.63%, up 1.7% from last year's pass rate of 78.94%. The Texas Bar Examination is given twice a year, in July and February.
"Our students and faculty deserve special recognition for this high passage rate," stated Assistant Dean for Student Affairs Susana I. Aleman. "Their accomplishments demonstrate a high level of achievement for both students and their professors."
The University of Texas School of Law improved its success rate from one year ago, July. UT graduates scored .44% higher, up from 91.6%.
