AUSTIN, Texas — The issue of same-sex marriage will be debated at a day-long
forum sponsored by the Texas Journal of Civil Liberties and Civil Rights on
Thurs., March 24 in the Eidman Courtroom at UT Law.
The conference will feature members of the legislature, clergy, and professors.
At 3:30 p.m., UT professors Laycock and Weinberg, and Brigham Young Professor
Richard Wilkins will debate the constitutionality of same-sex marriage.
The event is free and open to the public. There is a registration fee for CLE
credit which can be paid at the event. The $50 fee will provide 7.5 hours of
