CHLSA honors Susana Alemán with the creation of the Dean Susana I. Alemán Endowed Presidential Scholarship.

AUSTIN, Texas—The Chicano/Hispanic Law Students Association (CHLSA) at The University of Texas School of Law will host its 23rd annual awards banquet on Sat., April 1, at 6:30 p.m. in the Connally Ballroom of the University’s Etter-Harbin Alumni Center.

The Honorable Alia Moses Ludlum will deliver the keynote speech at this year’s banquet. Appointed to the federal bench in 2003, Judge Ludlum was the first woman judge appointed in the Western District of Texas. She earned her J.D. from UT Law in 1986 and served as CHLSA President during the 1985-1986 school year.

Tickets are $25 for CHLSA members’ guests; $40 for students; and $60 for others. CHLSA cordially invites everyone to attend.
