On April 5–6, 2007 fourteen state and federal judges will lead UT Law students through a workshop designed to explain the role and work of judicial clerks, and to answer questions about the clerkship application process.
The participating judges represent State Supreme Court, bankruptcy, magistrate, federal district and appellate courts from around the country. The two-day workshop will include small group sessions for students to discuss the judges’ opinions, as well as panel presentations by groups of the visiting judges.
Under the direction of Professors Emily Kadens and Ernie Young, the judicial clerkship workshop is one in a series of events sponsored by the Law School to educate students on clerkship opportunities and to facilitate the application process.
