Professor Rob Owen is quoted in the September 21, 2007 issue of the Austin American-Statesman concerning the Travis County District Attorney’s decision to seek the death penalty in a 1990 murder trial after having initially removed that sanction as a possibility.
Owen, a graduate of the University of Georgia and Harvard Law School, is a nationally-recognized expert on death penalty cases. He is a clinical professor and co-director of UT Law School’s Capital Punishment Clinic.
