OUTLaw, the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered student association at the University of Texas School of Law, will host its annual legal advocacy conference on Friday, April 4, 2008. The program, held at the Law School in Townes Hall, room 2.138, begins at 1:00 p.m. and concludes at 5:00 p.m. Three separate panel discussions will focus on legal and legislative strategies, transgender issues, and immigration and asylum issues as they relate to the GLBT community. A reception following the program will conclude the day’s events.
The conference is free and open to the public. Attendance at the program qualifies participants for 3.5 hours of CLE credit at no cost.
