William M. Sage, UT law professor and vice provost for health affairs, co-sponsors lecture series on the ethics of science, April 4, 2008

UT’s vice provost for health affairs, Bill Sage, a Law School professor and a medical doctor, is hosting a series of seminars and discussions on research ethics. The series is co-sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Research and the Graduate School at UT. The next lecture is scheduled for Friday, April 4, 2008.

Russell Korobkin of UCLA Law School will discuss his recent book, Stem Cell Century: Law and Policy for a Breakthrough Technology. In addition to serving on the law faculty at UCLA, Korobkin is a senior fellow at that university’s Center for Society and Genetics. The lecture begins at 4:00 p.m. in room 2.402 of the A.C.E.S. Building on the UT campus.

The lecture is free of charge and open to the public.
