Welcome!

The Abuse Survivor Assistance Program (ASAP) is a student-run organization at the University of Texas School of Law. Our mission is to provide short-term emergency financial assistance to survivors leaving abusive relationships.

We were founded in 2004 as the "Survivor Support Network"--since then, we've been able to provide support and financial assistance to hundreds of survivors in the Austin area.

We have a reputation among advocates of survivors as a dependable "go-to" organization for emergency funds for their clients. We've also established a robust working relationship with several organizations that provide services to survivors of domestic violence in the central Texas area.

We're able to do all this because ASAP members volunteer their time, energy, and passions to plan and implement fundraising events throughout the school year. And, because ASAP is a student-run group, we have no operational costs--this means all proceeds raised or contributions made, go directly to those survivors we help support.
