Eric Puente

Eric Puente is a newly licensed attorney and student in the International Law LL.M. Program. He is a native of Dallas Texas, graduated Cum Laude from the University of North Texas with a B.A. in Sociology and a B.S. in Criminal Justice. He served two tours of duty during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom as a member of the U.S. Navy. He received his J.D. in May 2011 from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, TX where he also served as President of the Hispanic Law Students Association. He has interned at the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office and has represented clients in Harris County Criminal Court as a member of a pro-bono criminal defense clinic.
