CHLSA100

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Chicano/Hispanic Law Students' Association (CHLSA) at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law, alumni, members and friends of CHLSA announced the launch of CHLSA100 and the CHLSA100 Fund. The purpose of CHLSA100 is to raise funds to award scholarships to CHLSA members, based on merit or financial need, for bar preparation courses, bar exam fees, stipends or related items in order to further their educational and professional development.

CHLSA100 calls on all alumni and friends of CHLSA to donate at least $100 annually to the CHLSA100 Fund. CHLSA100 asks law firm and business supporters of CHLSA to donate at least $1,000 annually to the CHLSA100 Fund. Donations may be made via www.CHLSA100.com, www.CHLSA.org, or the link below. Donors need only select "CHLSA100" from the pull-down menu.

CHLSA100 is an outstanding way to support CHLSA students at the UT Law School. In recognition of support, donors will be named as members of CHLSA100 and identified as a CHLSA100 supporter on the CHLSA website, in CHLSA's Informe newsletter and during other opportunities throughout the year. To qualify for membership in CHLSA100, individual donors must contribute at least $100 annually to the CHLSA100 Fund each calendar year. Firms and businesses must contribute at least $1,000 annually to the CHLSA100 Fund each year.

The CHLSA100 Fund is administered by the University of Texas Law School Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. The full value of gifts to the CHLSA100 Fund is tax-deductible in accordance with applicable law. The CHLSA100 Advisory Board assists in supporting CHLSA 100 and promoting CHLSA100 among CHLSA alumni, the legal and business community, the Law School and CHLSA members. More information on CHLSA100 is available on the internet via www.CHLSA100.com or at the CHLSA website at www.CHLSA.org.
