How do I get added to CLS' email list? Visit
Law
Mail, check Christian Legal Society, and click the update button.
You will need to enter your UT EID and password in order to gain access.

How do I contact someone at CLS? Visit the Contact
page.

What types of activities does CLS sponsor? Our main weekly meeting
is a time for students to get together for praise & worship, fellowship,
encouragement, and teaching. To complement the weekly Praise & Worship,
CLS has bible studies and prayer meetings. We also have regular social outings
to get your mind off law school! In addition, CLS has an annual retreat,
free catered lunches with local Christian attorneys as speakers, and practical
activities to expose students to the vast resources with CLS including studying
methods/aids, job interviews, career options and the like. CLS also hosts
several events each year focused on serving the students, faculty, and staff
at the law school. In the past, such events have included a Free Bake Sale,
Sno-Cone Giveaway, and Free BBQ lunch.

Is CLS associated with a denomination? No. CLS is a nondenominational
evangelical organization.

Is CLS associated with any national organization? Yes. CLS is associated
with the attorney chapter of the
Christian Legal Society.

How do I become a member of Christian Legal Society? The CLS chapter
at UT doesn't have any official membership, but the CLS National organization
encourages all students and graduates to be members of CLS. You can get
the
application here.

How is CLS structured? CLS is a student led ministry. Currently,
we have several students serving on the CLS board to facilitate basic operation
of the organization. Please visit the Contact

How do I find out the date/time/place of upcoming CLS events? Please make sure you are signed up to receive our Law Mail (see 1 above).

Does CLS require any dues? The UT Chapter of CLS does
not require any dues. Membership in the National Chapter of CLS
is $25 for law students.
