Chester attended Stanford University, receiving his M.S. in Biomedical Informatics from the School of Medicine in 2006 after finishing his B.S. in Biomedical Computation, Cellular/Molecular Specialization, from the School of Engineering in 2005. Before deciding to attend law school, he was deeply interested in the intersection between computer science and biology, particularly in leveraging artificial intelligence algorithms to solve complex biological problems. He has a wide range of experiences in both the life sciences and computer science, and is interested in applying his unique scientific and engineering background to the practice of patent law.
In addition to his current duties with the IPLS, Chester sits on the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal Board as Publications Editor (Volume 17). As a 2L he was President of the IPLS and Development Chair of the Asian Law Students Association. Chester was born and grew up in Houston, Texas, where his parents still reside.

Stephanie is a second year law student at the University of Texas School of Law and received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2003. Prior to law school Stephanie worked as an engineer in a product development group for semiconductor equipment manufacturer Applied Materials. In addition to serving as the Co-President for the Intellectual Property Law Society, she is a Staff Editor for the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal and a member of the Legal Research Board.

Tazeen Dhedhi is a second year law student at The University of Texas School of Law. She earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin. Tazeen received her B.S. in 2001 followed by her M.S. in 2003. After completing her graduate work in Computer Science, she worked as a software engineer on a student management system for TK20, Inc.
As a law student, Tazeen was awarded a Thomas M. Phillips Endowed Scholarship, 2007-2008. In addition to being the Financial Officer for the Intellectual Property Law Society, she is a Summer Staff Editor (2008) for the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal and a member of the South Asian Law Students Association.

Allen Torng is a second year law student at The University of Texas School of Law. He received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2007. During his undergraduate studies, Allen worked on life sciences patent work at UT's Office of Technology Commercialization.
In addition to being the IPLS Speaker Coordinator, Allen is currently a Summer Staff Editor (2008) for the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal and a member of the Asian Law Students Association.
