MISSION and VALUES The Women's Law Caucus reflects the great diversity and the increasing influence of women both at The University of Texas School of Law and in the greater Austin community. The WLC strives to augment the quality of and opportunity for professional development, provide support for our member's academic endeavors, foster a symbiotic relationship between members and their local and global communities, and generally host social events for all law students as an avenue for members to increase personal achievement and well-being.
The Women's Law caucus strives to promote the values of: SOCIETY, DIVERSITY, ACADEMIC SUPPORT, COMMUNITY SERVICE, and PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
HISTORY The Women's Law Caucus reflects both the
great diversity and the growing influence of women at the Law School. Founded
in 1972, the Caucus is one of the largest voluntary student organizations at
the Law School. Activities range from professional development and academic
support to social events and golf lessons.
