SERVICE
Women's Law Caucus members strive to foster a positive relationship with our local and global communities by volunteering our time and talents to various community service projects throughout the year. Below is a list of service projects planned for the 2010-2011 school year. Contact WLC's Service Coordinator, Jess Davis, for more information on how to get involved in any of our service projects.
OUR NEXT SERVICE EVENT
- Join us October 15TH - 17TH as we volunteer at the TEXAS BOOK FESTIVAL held at the Texas State Capital Building. We will help out by escorting some great authors, this year Alton Brown, Larua Bush and Karl Rove are excepted guests and helping set up books. - September: Dress for Success and Trinity Center Clothing Drive
- October: Texas Book Festival
- January: MLK Day of Service
- February: BookSpring - a literacy program empowering children with a life long love of reading
- March: Rally for the Cure - Golf lesson and fundraiser benefitting the Susan G. Komen Foundation
