Intl Human Rights & Justice Workshop - APPLICATION REQUIRED. Application and/or instructions on how to apply for this workshop can be accessed on the web: http://www.utexas.edu/law/sao/academics/apps.html.
Description
This is a speaker-based workshop on international human rights law. We will read academic papers and hear them presented by their authors. Roughly half of the class weeks will involve outside speaker presentations. The others will involve a combination of UT speakers from both inside and outside the law school, discussions of background readings in human rights and international law, and class discussions of papers before they are presented. Students will be expected to write short, critical reaction papers for several of the papers presented.
