Description
The seminar will focus primarily on the legal issues surrounding commercial wind energy development, including siting, regulatory, electric transmission, and environmental issues. At least one session will be devoted to other energy sources, such as solar, biofuels and alternative hydrocarbons, such as tar sands Every student will be required to write a paper on a topic that has been approved by the professor and to discuss a draft of the paper during a portion of one class period.
