Description
The course gives a detailed review of the role of insurance in litigation, and consumers' rights and remedies in insurance litigation. The emphasis is on practical applications of substantive law, covering: actionable conduct; statutory and common law theories; standing; persons and entities that may be liable; remedies; defenses; pre-suit considerations; pleadings; discovery; trial practice; and ethics.
