Description
A study of the development of administrative law and its role and impact on citizens and businesses in Texas. Governmental regulation within Texas will be addressed, with some discussion of the differences between federal and Texas administrative law. Primary emphasis is on Texas administrative practice and procedure, including an analysis of the powers and procedures common to state agencies in Texas. Particular focus is given to rule-making and contested case hearings under the Texas Administrative Procedures Act, and judicial review by the courts over agency actions.
