You must have at least 43 credit hours to register.
This seminar will mainly cover major contemporary theories of justice. They include the theories of John Rawls, Robert Nozick, and Ronald Dworkin. As a preliminary to their study, the seminar will begin with a discussion of some of the classical philosophical writings on justice including texts by Aristotle, Locke, Hume and Mill.
