Description
TOPIC: From Idea to Intellectual Property: The Road to Commercializing Technology.
Instructors: Sriram Vishwanath (sriram@ece.utexas.edu) and Andrew Dillon (dillon@dillonyudell.com).
Class Aims:
1. To evaluate technology generated at UT based on their commercial potential and market-value.
2. To take a student carefully through the process of turning disclosures into patents.
3. To develop one or more teams that will eventually enter a commercialization competition such as the Idea to Product (I2P).
Pre-requisites: This class has no pre-requisites. Instructor permission is required.
