Description
This seminar will introduce you to the day-to-day tasks of the environmental lawyer. It covers four of the principal areas of environmental law practice: compliance counseling; administrative enforcement; environmental litigation; and environmental policy. It is comprehensive in its approach to these areas. It will teach you how to bring a federal enforcement action; negotiate a settlement; prepare documents and strategy for a citizen's suit; counsel a corporation on environmental compliance; and comment on an EPA proposed rule as well as develop other relevant skills. You will be required to complete a number of projects over the course of the term and to work as a team.
