This course is restricted to upper division students only.
Description
This course provides an overview of the legal regulation of intimate relationships. Substantial time is devoted to the incidents of divorce (including property division, spousal support, child support, and custody), the limits of marital contracting, and the establishment and termination of non- marital relationships. The course will also cover issues related to domestic violence, surrogacy contracts, and the legal ramifications of alternative reproductive technology.
