Class of 1992
Rick Gomez, universally well-loved member of the Class of 1992, died on Wednesday, August 3, of liver cancer. Diagnosed in late July, Rick was surrounded by family and friends during his last weeks; many classmates flew to Washington to be with him, and numerous friends celebrated his life at a memorial service on Saturday, August 6, which included bag pipe music, as he had requested. His colleagues have created a web site at http://rickgomez.us/ to honor and remember him.
