Help Us Recruit the Best and the Brightest

Refer a Student

When we ask new students how they first heard about the LBJ School, the majority of time they tell us it was from our current students and alumni. We are grateful for the support and encourage all our graduates to continue to spread the word and to help us identify prospective students who would make exciting contributions to our campus community. If you know prospective students who would benefit from the LBJ School experience, please send their contact information to lbjadmit@uts.cc.utexas.edu or point them to our website and encourage them to join our mailing and email lists by completing the student inquiry form on our Web site.

Be an Alumni Contact

Contact with our alumni is probably the most powerful recruiting tool we have to convert our top accepted students into enrolled students. We are receiving an increasing number of requests from students who would like to be put in touch with one of our graduates. They typically have questions about the benefits of a Master's of Public Affairs, the LBJ School experience, living in Austin, and career paths in public policy. There are several different ways to serve as an alumni contact, and they are all facilitated through the OSAP office. When we get a student request, we will pass that information on to one of our alumni contacts who share their interests or live in their region.

If you would like to share your LBJ School or career experiences with prospective students, please fill out the form below.
