The LBJ School of Public Affairs Alumni Association consists of three volunteer alumni organizations, with an all-inclusive association and two geographic chapters. Find out more about each via the links to each organization below.
LBJ School Alumni Association
The Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs Alumni Association was developed in 1988 by an independent group of dedicated alumni.
It serves to:
- Promote the recognition, welfare and progress of the Lyndon B Johnson School of Public Affairs at the The University of Texas at Austin (the “School”), and its alumni;
- To assist the Dean, the faculty and the students of the School in strengthening fundamental education at the School;
- To generate and maintain widespread interest in and commitment to the School by its alumni, by professional groups, by governmental agencies and by other individuals;
- To serve the professional and education needs of the graduates of the School and to promote cooperation and communication among the alumni;
- To inform alumni, friends of the School and public entities of the work of the School and its alumni, their services to the public and their future plans and needs.
The LBJ School Alumni Association is currently engaged in a restructuring effort. If you have questions, please contact the Office of Alumni Affairs, and watch the alumni newsletter for update.
