Greetings from your alumni affairs coordinator
Welcome to the first issue of the LBJ School alumni newsletter. This quarterly publication is a place for alumni to share professional achievements, personal news, to highlight alumni events, and to disseminate all things of interest to LBJ School alumni. While the School’s regular e-newsletter, NEWS@LBJ, will continue to publicize to a broader audience important news and information that pertains to the LBJ School community at-large, the alumni newsletter will be an intimate vehicle for communicating with and among alumni.
In my role as alumni coordinator, my job is to assist you in connecting with the School, one another, and with students. Please contact me with any and all things alumni-related. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the number of calls, e-mails, and personal visits I have received, and am always ready to give a tour of the newly renovated School. Drop in any time or contact me to meet for coffee. In getting to know each of you, I learn more about the needs of the alumni as a whole, and it helps inform my ability to create lasting, meaningful programming that will best serve the LBJ School community.
I look forward to working with you, the School and students to build strong ties for all.
