Registration Underway for Diversity in Public Policy Conference

The Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) Fellows and the Public Affairs Alliance for Communities of Color (PAACC) will host a conference called "Fostering Diversity in Public Policy" on Friday, November 17, 2000, at the LBJ School of Public Affairs. Registration for the event is free.

The one-day conference will engage PPIA alumni and fellows, LBJ School alumni, policy professionals, and students in dialogue concerning policy issues relevant to communities of color. Workshops will enable participants to develop skills commonly used in policy careers and settings. In addition, the conference will serve as a medium for founding an association for professionals of color.

For further conference and registration information, please visit the conference web site at: http://uts.cc.utexas.edu/~paacc/conference.
