Former Intelligence Chief Bobby R. Inman to Lead Soap Box Discussion

LBJ School Professor Bobby R. Inman, an internationally known intelligence and national security expert, will be the facilitator at a September 25 debate organized by members of the Brown Bag Speakers Series Committee.

The "soap box" forum will focus on issues related to the 9/11 tragedy and other world events. It is scheduled for 12:15 p.m. in the Student Lounge.

Professor Inman holds the Lyndon B. Johnson Centennial Chair in National Policy and has been associated with the LBJ School for more than 14 years. Previously, he served as director of naval intelligence, vice-director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, director of the National Security Agency, and deputy director of the Central Intelligence Agency. He is also well known for his work with such firms as MCC and Westmark Systems, which helped propel Central Texas to prominence as a high-tech center.

The Brown Bag Speakers Series is coordinated by LBJ School students.
