LBJ faculty, staff, and friends of the school gathered on the weekend of Friday, May 16th, 2008 to celebrate the LBJ School's 37th annual graduation convocation. This year, one hundred and twenty eight LBJ students earned their Master of Public Affairs degree and four attained their Ph.D.
Vernon E. Jordan delivered this year's convocation address, along with addresses from LBJ School Dean James B. Steinberg, and LBJ student Ian Brown. Jordan is a well known civil rights leader and attorney who currently is senior counsel at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer, & Feld. For his complete bio, click here.
