Multidisciplinary crime research center established at UT Austin UT Austin has established a multidisciplinary research center for conducting basic research on crime and its causes and consequences, as well as policy and evaluation research in criminal justice and criminal justice administration.The primary objectives of the Center for Criminology and Criminal Justice Research (CCCJR) are to provide a forum for faculty, criminal justice administrators, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange information and expertise; to facilitate collaborative research with state and local criminal justice agencies; and to provide research and training opportunities to graduate students. The CCCJR combines the expertise of faculty research associates and graduate students at UT Austin from the LBJ School, the College of Liberal Arts, the School of Law, the College of Business Administration, and the School of Social Work.
