Gerald Ford, Lady Bird Johnson, Jimmy Carter photo

Former Presidents Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter visit with Lady Bird Johnson prior to their discussion at an LBJ Library/LBJ School symposium in April. Ford and Carter's dialogue, moderated by NBC correspondent Tim Russert, touched on topics ranging from the after-effects of Watergate to the implications of the Elian Gonzalez situation. Other panels during the three-day symposium discussed the effect of the media on the presidency, the president's role in setting domestic agendas, and the presidency in the age of globalization.
