Victoria Rodríguez is promoted

Victoria Rodríguez, who has been at the LBJ School since 1991, has been approved by the UT Austin administration for promotion from associate professor to professor. The promotion is effective September 1.

Rodríguez has been the university's vice provost for institutional initiatives since January 2001 and is affiliated with the UT Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies faculty. She has a Ph.D. in political science from the University of California at Berkeley and specializes in Mexican and U.S. politics and public policy.
