LBJ Journal celebrates birthday

Child support enforcement, capital punishment for the mentally retarded, and privacy versus security issues on the Internet are among the topics explored in the spring 2003 issue of the LBJ Journal of Public Affairs.

Celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, the Journal is the oldest student-run publication of its kind in the country. This year’s issue includes, in addition to policy papers written by LBJ School students and the traditional Practitioner’s Corner, a case comment by a 1996 LBJ School graduate, a time-series analysis by a Ph.D. student in government, and a commentary by an LBJ School faculty member.

This year’s managing editors are Elizabeth Kaufman and Sarah Stout, both second-year students. Other members of the editorial board are Vanessa Bouché, Colby Clark, Todd Cohen, Jennifer Allen Eldridge, Eric Gorman, Erine Gray, Tedd Holladay, Angie Jacobs, Kristen Lindberg, Mona Nichols, Amanda Norquest, Stephen Palmer, Maggie Sheer, Sara Meadows Tolleson, and Kelly Ward.

The new issue is available online at the Journal’s web site.
