RGK Center fosters new courses |

|
More students are considering specializations in nonprofit management. During fall orientation, LBJ School students Annette Coussan (left) and Meredith Despain meet with RGK Center Lecturer and Consultant Sarah Jane Rehnborg (center) to discuss her course on community engagement and the management of volunteers. This year the RGK Center for Philanthropy and Community Service made it easier for UT Austin students to take courses in nonprofit and philanthropic studies in the future. In December the Center awarded 10 grants of $20,000 each to 11 UT Austin faculty members who developed new courses or modified existing ones to include themes in philanthropy, volunteerism, and/or nonprofit management.
