Teaching Excellence Award winners announced

TETA photo

Professor Pat Wong (left) and Ph.D. student Hector Robles are the winners of this year’s Texas Excellence Teaching Award (TETA). This is the second time that Wong, who has taught at the LBJ School since 1988, has won the excellence award. He is often described as a teacher who challenges his students to think and who teaches them how to learn. Robles, who won in the teaching assistant category, was cited by several students for his patience, flexibility, and ability to guide. TETA is administered by Texas Exes and allows students to choose the best professors and teaching assistants on campus.
