Saturday Artists

Peter Nevland and Paul Finley, folk apostles who turn up in the most unlikely places (but live in Austin, TX) combine original poetry with guitar virtuosity in a zany, improvisational style.

Sandra Organ , soloist wih the Houston Ballet for twelve seasons, is founder and artistic director of the Sandra Organ Dance Company. She is much sought after as a guest artist, choreographer, teacher, and speaker. For her performance at the conference she will be collaborating with song stylist Cynthia Clawson.

Cynthia Clawson, Grammy winner, whose rendition of Softly and Tenderly set the evocative tone for the soundtrack of the Academy Award winning movie The Trip to Bountiful, co-pastors Tarrytown Baptist Church with her husband, Ragan Courtney.

Tony Lawton , for ten years a professional actor (mostly in Philadelphia), is founder of the Mirror Theatre Company. He has performed several one-man shows, most recently Frederick Buechner's Godric.
